First 2021 Training run

The first Ice Age Trail 50 training run will be held this Saturday, Aug 21 at the IAT Start/Finish area beginning at 7:30 a.m. We’ve flagged a 35-mile course that includes the blue Nordic loop (appx 9 miles) and an out-and-back to Rice Lake. Flagging will be minimal — so if you are unfamiliar with the course, please review the course maps on the IAT website before Saturday. There will be one minimalist aid station at Hwy 12 (miles 18 & 26) with water, Heed and a few snacks. There are many shorter distance options — see the RD before the run for ideas. Everyone is invited, but you will need a Wisconsin state park pass to park at the Nordic lot. (Bring cash or a check in the event that a ranger is not on site to process credit cards.) Hope to see you there!
