Registration for the 2024 Ice Age Trail races will open on Sunday, December 17th.
Registration for the 50-mile race will open at noon CT, followed by the 50k at 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. for the Half Marathon. You can register here or via the Ice Age Trail 50 website.
Registration may be slightly more competitive this year, since parking limitations have caused us to lower our entry caps. That said, if you attempt to register before your race is sold out, don’t panic! Email the RD at iceage50rd@gmail.com and your name will be added to the wait list in the order it was received.
If you meet any one of the following criteria, you are invited to participate in an early registration event this Saturday, December 9th from 3:00-5:00 p.m.:
*Nine or more IAT finishes (in any single event or combination of events).
*You volunteered for the 2023 race.
*You finished top 10 overall (men and women) or top three in your age division in any of the 2023 races. Results are posted here.
*Your entry was deferred from 2023 (instructions were shared in an earlier email).
*You are the race director of an ultramarathon.
Please do not attempt to use the early registration option if you do not meet this criterion. All unqualified entries will be rejected and ruled ineligible to participate in the 2024 race.
Hope you can make it!!
