2022 IAT Training RUn #1

The first of two training runs for this year’s Ice Age Trail 50 will be held on Saturday, April 23. The run will start and end at the Nordic Trailhead, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

We’ll mark a 35-mile course that includes the blue Nordic loop and an out-and-back to Rice Lake. A minimalist aid station with water, Heed and snacks will be set up at Highway 12 (miles 18 & 26).

There is no cost and everyone is invited. A Wisconsin state park pass is required to park in the Nordic lot. If you do not have a pass, bring cash as the ranger’s station may not be staffed.

The Race Director will be available that day to answer questions or provide alternate routes for runners looking for shorter routes.

Our second training run will be held the following Saturday, April 30 (19 miles).

See you there!
